How to Wear

Tie it on your left wrist, traditionally the receiving side, and wear it continuously.

Say the Prayer to St. Michael below when you put it on, and any time you feel the need for his protection.

When the string breaks or falls off, tradition says it has done its work. Thank it, return it to the earth or bury it, and tie on a new one.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Care

Remove before swimming or heavy exposure to water to help it last. Avoid perfumes and harsh soaps directly on the string. A faint scent or slight color variation from its preparation is natural.
